First Databank’s new Middle East Drug Knowlege provides up-to-date information on all Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Middle East registered drugs. It also provides comprehensive clinical decision support for all registered drugs including drug interactions, allergies and duplicate therapy. Drug-specific clinicial data such as Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical (ATC) classification codes published by the World Health Organisation, are also included along with pack information. 

Drug reimbursement is supported through the use of regional drug codes.  Customisable fields allow other region specific information, or in-house formulary data to be added to the drug database.

When integrated into clinical systems clinicians will benefit from access to accurate, reliable drug information. Clinical decision support alerts aid prescribing, dispensing and administration.
